The deputy ruler of Dubai and UAE’s Finance Minister , Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has died at 75years.
This was made known through a statement released by the Dubai media office, today.
Part of the statement stated that the UAE President, Khalifa bin Zayed has ordered that the national flags be flown at half-mast across the country until Saturday to mark three days of mourning.
Also his state, Dubai declared a 10-day mourning period.
But as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Funeral prayers gathering was restricted to his family members only.
Hamdan Bin Rashid had been unwell and had undergone surgery abroad in 2020, the statement added.
