Leeds United star and Polish midfielder, Mateusz Klich has tested positive for COVID-19 virus.
This was was made known by the Polish Football Association.
The 30-year-old Polish player is going to miss Poland’s World Cup qualifier in Hungary on Thursday, March 25.
A second test has been carried out and he awaits the results of the test.
The result of his second test is going to determine if he will also miss the game against Andorra on Sunday and the qualifier against England at Wembley next week Wednesday.
But he has not really shown any symptoms of the virus and he is not feeling unwell.
Jakub Kwiatkowski, media officer of the Polish FA, tweeted: “The Polish national team received the results of the COVID-19 test this morning.”
“Unfortunately, in the case of Mateusz Klich, the result is positive. The competitor is well and shows no symptoms of illness, but his trip to Budapest is excluded. Today the test was repeated”.
