Kano State Govt has ordered the immediate closure of four tertiary institutions due to insecurity

The Kano State Government has ordered the immediate closure of four tertiary institutions in the state due to the increasing insecurity.

It was made known by the State Commissioner for Higher Education, Dr Mariya Bunkure through a statement issued to newsmen in Kano today, Saturday.

According to the statement, the affected schools includes;

  • College of Advance and Remedial Studpies, Tudun Wada;
  • School of Environmental Studies, Gwarzo;
  • School of Rural Technology and Entrepreneurship Development, Rano; and
  • Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta.

‘’With regard to this announcement, all students of the affected schools are advised to vacate the campuses as soon as possible,’’ the statement said.
