Robert Maraj, the father of Nicki Minaj dies after being strucked by a hit-and-run driver

Robert Maraj, 64-year-old father of the popular rapper Nicki Minaj has died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in New York, police said.
Nassau County Police in New York said Robert was walking between Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue Friday evening around 6 PM ET.
A vehicle heading northbound hit him and the driver fled the scene without stopping.
Robert was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on Saturday.
The police is investigating the case, although there is no adequate description of the suspect’s vehicle yet.
