FG to invest in InfraCo with 1trillion naira

Given the dilapidated state of the Nigerian infrastructural system , the Federal Government of Nigeria has come up with a new project to the state of infrastructural system which are basic to economic development of any nation particularly a deloping country like Nigeria which has suffered from poor state of basic amenities and infrastructures like good road, electricity, rail roads, water, health system, technology, etc.

Yesterday, president Mohammad Buhari approved the infrastructure firm now known as InfraCo and investing a whooping sum of 1 trillion naira to this project which is seen as a joint partnership between the government and private partners, a public private partnership comprising the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Africa Finance Corporation and perhaps the stock market and other private stakeholders.

The board of directors would be chaired by the CBN of Godwin Emefiele Speaaking at Arise News, the CEO, Africa Finace Corporation Samaila Zubairo gave an elaborate insight to this laudable initiative and how this project was conceived and how has been designed with a workable template by the AFC whose major focus would be on investing on infrastructural development of the economy of Nigeria and called for support by all.
