Popular Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Igboho, has cautions the federal government to unfreeze his bank accounts or face serious protests in the South West.
Igboho, speaking with the press, confirmed that all his accounts were frozen, because some people were collecting donations but that he had no hand in the said donations.
Igboho had earlier on issued a quit notice to Fulani herdsmen in Oyo and Ogun states to vacate any land they are occupying. He further made it clear he it in order to end criminality and killings in the region.
“The Yoruba people have been living in fear. They are afraid that the killer-herdsmen might attack them,” he said.
“I will not relent. I must achieve my aims by putting an end to criminalities in Yorubaland.
“The federal government has frozen my bank accounts because I am fighting a just cause. I know Yoruba people are behind me.
“If federal government refuse to release my accounts, there will be serious protests across the South-West.
