Face Mask Now Compulsory In Lagos- Gov Sanwo Olu

Just as the federal government has signed the law making wearing a face mask compulsory in public places in line with the public health safety Covid-19 rules in order to prevent the spread of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic, the Lagos State has followed suite to also make the wearing of face mask compulsory in the state.

This seems to be coming at a time the world is facing a second wave of the pandemic and Lagos state is worst hit in the country and regarded as the epicentre of the disease.

This is being seen by many as a proactive measure by the state government to effectively fight against the pandemic raving many of her citizens even as the country awaits the arrival of the vaccines. The state government has also opened some of the health facilities earlier shut down and also mapped out funds to ensure all necessary effort to bring down the number of recorded cases.
