Parents of abducted students of Kankara protest for govt intervention

The Parents of the abducted students of the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara on Sunday staged a protest over the sad incident for government intervention.

The protesters marching with placards, called on the Federal Government to immediately rescue their children.

Some of the parents held placards with the inscriptions such as ‘Government must talk’, ‘We want our children back’ and ‘Science Kankara wants their student back.

The Governor of Katsina state, Aminu Masari confirmed that about 333 students are still missing.

The governor, who ordered the closure of all schools. He assured the residents that the abducted students will be rescued very soon.
