As Americans celebrate the annual Thanksgiving celebration. Outgoing US President Donald Trump has once again given an idea of whether or not he would leave the White House upon the expiration of his Tenure.
He made this known while participating in a video teleconference call with members of the military on Thanksgiving. President Trump took questions from reporters. He was been asked on whether he would leave the White house on January 20th. A date when the new President-elect is sworn into Office.
Donald Trump admitted before the reporters that it was a “very hard thing to concede” electoral defeat but committed to leaving the White House if the Electoral College votes for Joe Biden, the president-elect while attending a Thanksgiving event on Thursday.
“It’s going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know there was massive fraud,” Mr. Trump said, while also refusing to state whether he would attend Mr. Biden’s inauguration in January.
His remarks is seen as the nearest he has come to a concession. If Mr Biden is certified the election winner by the Electoral College – the process by which presidents are elected on December 14. Donald Trump would certainly be certain that his days at the White House will be over.
