Again, Fuel Price Goes Up, Sells For #167 – #170

1 min read

Barely three months the Federal government increased the price of fuel from #135 to #145, Nigerians have today woken up to yet another hike from #145 to #170.

This was made public by the NPPC when it announced an increase in the price of fuel at the depot.

Reactions have been trailing this latest development as many Nigerians have criticized this new policy of price hike in fuel under this harsh economy including negative economic growth as a result of Covid-19 pandemic which brought the economy to a total standstill.

We can only hope the government reverses its decision on this hike in fuel price which will definitely lead to high inflation rate in the country and an untold hardship to the larger population.
