Nigeria’s former finance minister Okonjo-Iweala who is currently vying for the post of DG of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) has finally progressed to the final stage with her rival from Korean Republic.
And she is actually happy and shown appreciation to the members of WTO, Nigerians and president Buhari for the support given to her so far.
On her Twitter page , she shows appreciation as she posted :
Happy to be in the final round of the@wto DG campaign. Thanks, WTO members for your continued support of my candidacy. I could not have made it without the prayers and support of all Nigerians and friends around the world. Thank you @MBuhari .
We hope she clinches the post to become the first black African woman to head the World Trade Centre.
