Following the heated altercation and argument that ensued between the Minister of state for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo and the National Assembly at committee set up to look into the issue of the modalities of the programme which ended on a sour note, the NASS has finally suspended the entire programe and process and also invited his senior, the Minister for Labour and Productivity, Senator Chris Ngige in place of Keyamo.
It would be recalled that Keyamo has accused the Senators of trying to intimidate him and hijack the process and promised he will not bow or give in to their selfish interest but would only take orders from President Buhari.
Meanwhile, the speaker of the House of Representatives Hon Femi Gbajabiamila has promised to wade into this issue and resolve it within 24 hours.
Now that two big elephants are fighting, it is only the grass that will suffer, in this case, the common masses who are poor, jobless and vulnerable.
